Veteran US powerlifter Baron Dixon set the Virginia state deadlift record with his 272.5kg (601lb) opener at the 100% RAW Shenandoah Open on November 21 in Woodstock, Virginia.
Since going vegan in mid 2017 Baron has won multiple world championship titles in the 100% Raw World Championships and is now training for the Masters world record in the 275lb weight class.
