MVS were representing yet again at the 2006 Cruelty Free Expo. Thousands of people streamed through the Prahran Town Hall to check out the numerous exhibitors and we handed out heaps of the vegan strength leaflets, as well as answering all sorts of questions throughout the day about gaining strength as a vegan.

We also had another strength competition, this time around dumbell overhead presses for reps. To the usual cries of ‘rigged’ Hannibal took the male comp with 50 reps at 15kgs, followed closely by Mark with 41 reps. A fierce back and forth battle took place for the female crown between veganbunny Elise and Sea shepherd lara.. in the end Elise took it by one rep (34 reps at 7.5kgs).
